Location was fantastic. Size of the living room and bedrooms was great

− The kitchen was very small and quite poorly equipped. The shower wasn't very powerful. Bathroom door didn't lock properly and the toilet flush was very poor. The bare floorboards in the living room caused splinters in feet and raised nails ripped several pairs of socks. It was obviously a holiday rental, which could do with some care. It felt like the owners were only interested in the rental fee

A fabulous week in North Berwick.

The main living room is amazing. Gorgeous big windows that let in lots of sun and a large dining area for the family. The bedrooms were very comfortable. The church bells are very noticeable but it didn't bother us.

− As others have mentioned, the communal stairway and outdoor bin area is not up to the same high standard as the property itself.

Apartment was really good, comfortable. Very spacious and had everything we could need. Central location and great access to walking, restaurants and both bus and train to Edinburgh. Though train much quicker

− The smell on the staircase, not the owner of this apartments fault though more the communal area for the building. The church bells! Was warned but didn't expect them to ring after midnight and every half hour as well as on the hour. I already use earplugs but it was 4 nights before I got more used to it.

We enjoyed our stay in NB and the apartment served our purpose.

No breakfast so n/a Location good Apartment comfortable and clean. However, communal area ie entrance and staircase would benefit from a clean up.

− As above the communal area Also prior to my stay I tried to change my booking to one night less I did not find either Coast Properties or Booking.com helpful in this regard so I ended up paying for a night I did not actually use. Given I had paid a premium to change my booking I found this unacceptable especially as I tried to make the change within the period I should have been able to do so.
