Warm, welcoming, cosy, great space, an aga and log burner, very clean, comfy beds, cute little garden, allocated parking space in a bay steps away from the property, a few minutes drive to Widdecombe on the Moor, great little village with two great pubs, couple of gift shops, cafe and if you're lucky - ponies in the car park (£2 in the honesty box). A great base to explore Dartmoor, a home away from home! Excellent communication with hosts, thank you for a lovely stay in your beautiful home.

− If you are less mobile, the stairs/steps to different rooms may be a factor to consider.

location was fine. Good kitchen, and nice garden to sit in. Lovely village, very friendly neighbours. Glorious views.

We loved the location, very calm and peaceful. The cottage was warm and cosy. Lovely comfortable beds and bedding. Two nice showers comfortable sitting room big enough for our party of 6. Very well equipped.

− We have never cooked on an Aga before and it took some time to get used to how long it takes to warm up. I think it should be highlighter in the details that this is the only form of cooking.
