I had a wonderful stay at Crowne Plaza Istanbul Ortaköy Bosphorus. The location was perfect for my trip, just a couple of minutes’ walk from Ortaköy, very close to Beşiktaş and Kuruçeşme, and convenient for reaching Kabataş, the ferries, Dolmabahçe and many other areas. As a solo traveler who wanted to explore Istanbul, getting around was very easy. The room was always clean, comfortable and well maintained, and whenever I needed anything, the team was very responsive. I was also welcomed with a complimentary fruit platter, which was a lovely touch. A special thank you to Ugur Polat, the manager, who was incredibly understanding, supportive and generous with his time, and genuinely made sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. And a big thank you to Ekrem, who was always so kind and looked out for me, especially when I was leaving or returning late at night. As a solo female traveler, knowing someone was making sure I was okay and that my rides were safe meant a lot. Breakfast was another highlight, with beautiful views of the Bosphorus and bridge from inside and Ortaköy Mosque from the terrace. I loved having breakfast with one view and then moving to the other for my Turkish çay. Special thanks to Resul Yavuz, who was always attentive, helpful and made breakfast even more enjoyable. The hotel also has Visorante and NITE. I tried NITE for dinner and really enjoyed the food, DJ and atmosphere, and the complimentary dessert from the team was such a nice gesture. Finally, thank you to Nilay from Guest Relations, who helped me arrange a reservation for an evening out and even checked on me the next day to make sure everything had gone well. That kind of personal attention really stays with you. And to everyone whose name I may have missed, thank you as well, the entire team was friendly and contributed in their own way to making my stay so enjoyable. Overall, I felt safe, comfortable and genuinely welcomed throughout my stay.
