I highly recommend this hotel. My family and I went to Greece for 8 days starting in Athens. We stayed at the King George for two nights. The location was convenient, the service was excellent and the food was great too! The only downside was that I thought there was a pool. There isn’t one. It is a 15 minute walk to Old Town, a 20 minute walk to the Acropolis and a 15-20 minute walk to great restaurants. You can also have drinks on the 8th floor at the hotel bar next door, which has an amazing view. The Parliament building is a two-minute walk and we were able to see the changing of the guard — which was cool. Everyone from the folks the reception desk to the porters to the waitstaff and maids were attentive and responsive. The restaurant is Michelin rated. They made a small mistake by taking some shot glasses that were gifted to us — thinking it was the hotel’s and they made up for it in spades. Best service you’ll get.

Gostei de tudo, Só faltou piscina! Não acreditei que numa cidade onde o sol brilha 360 dias no ano, um hotel 5 estrelas não tivesse piscina !

− There was no swimming pool and we could hear people talking in the next room while we tried to rest in the afternoon. Walls and floors are not soundproof
