Nice hotel in the centre of the Orchard area. There is an MRT station just on the door. The hotel is surrounded by a lot of malls and amenities. The room view is great, the swimming pool is lovely, and breakfast is good with a lot of variety. It is a good choice if you want to stay in the Orchard area

− The elevators are too slow. The hotel occupancy is generally high. While there are three elevators in service, you can expect 5 min easily to get either up or down due to high traffic.

Location. Staff is very friendly. Housekeeping is managed well too. Sustainable but still comfy with that Marriot feeling Breakfast was very good as well.

Most 4 and 5 star hotels in Singapore will be great relatively. Marriott Tang was one of them - nice building, good location (above mrt station, shopping centre etc), nice staff, lovely bedding and comfortable beds, good housekeeping. But it lacks the finishing touches that should be expected at this price point - when we arrived (albeit late night), there was a table in the lobby covered in rubbish where 2 women had been feasting on 2 min noodles etc then left ???), the breakfast buffet was mediocre (and chaos but that’s not the hotel’s fault), many of the staff seemed unhappy and the lift issues that others have mentioned are very real - up to 15 min waiting for a lift! In hindsight, I should have paid a few dollars more and stayed at the Shangri-La.

My wife and I recently completed an extended stay at the Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel, and we could not have been more impressed with the exceptional hospitality we received. While the hotel's location, facilities, and amenities are excellent, it was the people who truly made our stay memorable. A special thank you goes to Coleen from the M Club. Every morning, she welcomed us with a warm, genuine smile that made us feel like valued guests rather than just another room number. She always offered to bring my coffee to the table and even remembered exactly how I liked it without my having to ask. That level of personal attention says so much about her commitment to providing exceptional service. Although I was in Singapore primarily for work, my wife and I occasionally asked Coleen for recommendations on where to shop, dine, and explore during our free time. Her suggestions were always thoughtful and spot-on, allowing us to enjoy some of the best experiences Singapore has to offer. She truly made us feel like part of the Marriott family. I would also like to recognize Karl from the Concierge team. During our stay, I happened to meet him in the hallway and mentioned that we were experiencing an issue with our room. Without hesitation, Karl immediately stepped in to help. What impressed me most was that he didn't simply promise to look into it—he took ownership of the situation. He personally brought the matter to the Duty Manager, who quickly provided an outstanding resolution. Karl followed through to ensure everything had been taken care of, demonstrating genuine care for our experience. That kind of proactive service is rare and deserves recognition. Coleen and Karl are outstanding ambassadors for the Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel. Their professionalism, kindness, attention to detail, and sincere desire to make every guest feel welcome transformed what would have been a great stay into an unforgettable one. To the management team, I hope these two exceptional associates receive the recognition they deserve. They truly represent the very best of Marriott hospitality and are a major reason why my wife and I will gladly return on our next visit to Singapore. Amazing location, great chili crab signature

From the outside, it looked grand and luxurious. Thanks to Titanium Elite, our room was upgraded to an executive suite, with early check-in at 2:00 PM and late check-out at 3:00 PM, free breakfast, and free executive lounge access. But our room wasn't ready until 2:00, so we were given a regular room to rest. Our suite was ready at 6:00 PM. While the service was good, one of the three elevators was under renovation, resulting in a long wait. Fortunately, its location on Orchard Road made it easy to walk around and rest in the room. The standard room is quite spacious with a sofa, a comfortable work desk, a bed, and enough space for two suitcases. The tea was TWG. The bathroom, with a double vanity, closet, and shower, had light brown marble accents. The amenities were standard Marriott brand Thisworks Our suite was ready by 6:00 AM. The living room had a long sofa, armchair, work desk, bar, and a powder room (guest restroom). The interior was dominated by white wallpaper with black wood paneling. The bedrooms have the same interior as regular rooms. The beds are comfortable and large, being Hollywood twins, making for a very comfortable rest. The bathrooms are spacious, with a double vanity, bathtub, shower, and closet. Interestingly, there's a door that opens from the outside to the inside, requiring access by card, but it's secure thanks to the double lock and manual door lock. What's special about Tang Plaza is the swimming pool. Its beautiful color and warm water make it comfortable to swim even at night. The area is integrated with the lounge and gym. The executive lounge offers evening cocktails from 6 to 8 p.m., and it's always busy and full. The food is delicious and high-quality. The menu includes: 1. Chili crab mantau, sushi, quinoa salad, various cocktails and liquor. 2. Hainanese chicken rice, corn, fish cakes, vegetables, salad, cheese, pastry, pudding, cake. 3. Fresh fruit, juice. Breakfast is at the Crossroads restaurant. It's already busy from morning, with a wide selection of delicious dishes. The menu: 1. Coldcut, fruit, compote, yoghurt, jam, nuts, porridge, cake, Korean food 2. Noodle station, cha siu pao, cha si seuw, dumplings, hakau, lo ma kai 3. Cereal, juice, oatmeal, waffles, pancakes, French toast, pastry, muffins 4. Nutella dispenser, Indian food, cheese, dried fruit, hard and soft buns, baguette 5. eggs (Truffle eggs benedict, mentaiko aburi omelette, Singapore chili crab omelette) 6. sausage, casserole, hash brown, bacon, tomato, mushroom, cauliflower, bean 7. antipasti, salad
